The Legacy Of Japan’s Pro Wrestling Icon Mitsuharu Misawa

Mitsuharu Misawa died in Hiroshima, Japan earlier this year less than a week before his 47th birthday. He was in a tag team match for his Pro Wrestling NOAH promotion with Go Shiozaki against Bison Smith and Akitoshi Saito. Saito hit a back suplex on Misawa, which appeared to knock him unconscious. Medical staff attempted to revive him in the ring, but when CPR failed he was taken to a hospital by ambulance. He never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead on arrival.

That’s at least a small bit of solace amid the tragedy of Misawa’s death–he died in the ring doing what he loved, and what he did better than just about anyone on the planet. Misawa’s last moments were spent working the kind of brutally stiff, athletically realistic match that got a generation hooked on Japanese wrestling.

A top level amateur wrestler in high school, his skill gained the attention of All Japan Pro Wrestling president Shohei Giant Baba. He made his professional debut in’81, and got his first big break in’84 when he was chosen as the second Tiger Mask replacing Satoru Sayama. In’90, he had his longtime tag team partner (and occasional rival) Toshiaki Kawada unmask him.

Television And Movie Viewing Just Keeping Getting Better: Or Does It?

With so many choices in home entertainment, you really have to be careful what you buy into. Sure, technology changes all the time, and by the time you pick something out, the new stuff might already be making its way to the store shelves. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t get good stuff and have a good experience. You just have to decide what is important and what your needs are and make an educated decision.

Take video game consoles as an example. There are three major players in the game, Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony. They all want you to pick them for your video game and multi-media needs and wants. They all offer something different, although Sony and Microsoft are trying to tap into Nintendo’s share of the motion control market.

Many people looked at Nintendo with much doubt and skepticism when they announced their plans of a motion control based video game system and many people thought that it was going to be a complete and utter failure. Surprisingly to many, it has become a huge success and outsells the other consoles consistently. Now, Sony and Microsoft want to tap into the market and are both introducing their own versions of motion control based games and add-ons to their systems. It could be too little too late for both companies, but many people will be torn on whether to invest in the new gadgets or just let them pass by.

Wall-E Is A New Disney Animation Movie

I’m sure most of you have heard of the Disney Pixar movie, “Wall-E”. This movie was released into movie theaters on June 27th of ’08. Critics ranked this movie to a high degree. Between the laughs, cries, ups, and downs of this film, you will find your heard warmed in a matter of two hours! The popularity for this post-apocalyptic robot has increasing, and increased fast!

WALL-E has been nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. This is such a milestone! No animated movie has ever won Best Picture. This film not only represents friendship and the extend that some go to keep it alive, but it also symbolizes love. Some of you might laugh at that remark, but when you can feel a connection between two animated characters, you know it has been put together very precisely.

Small in size but big at heart, Wall-E embarks on a journey that could change destiny forever. This trip could could change the fate of robots and mankind. This small robot has no idea that what he will find in outer space could take over the entire world. The reason Wall-E left his normal lifestyle is because he met another robot, Eve. Eve stole his heart immediately, and when she left for the distant future, Wall-E followed along like a little puppy.

Ravens Thump Chiefs In NFL Opener

The bad news for the Baltimore Ravens in their 2009 NFL regular season opener was that their vaunted defense gave up 24 points despite holding a decided advantage in every other statistical category. The good news was that their offense was more than up to the task, answering with 38 points and a franchise record 501 yards. All told, the Ravens opened their season on a winning note beating the Kansas City Chiefs 38-24. Quarterback Joe Flacco threw for a career high 307 yards in the victory.

NFL sports betting devotees who took the +13 points with the Chiefs as a road underdog were hard luck losers as the Ravens managed to cover the pointspread by a single point. The win evened Baltimore’s ATS record over the past three seasons at 18-18, while the Chiefs fell to 14-19 in the same timeframe. The 62 combined points scored easily exceeded the posted total of 37.

Afterwards, Joe Flacco was clearly elated at his solid passing performance:

“It’s awesome. It’s so much fun. As a quarterback, that’s what you want to do.”

Ravens coach John Harbaugh expressed confidence in his offense’s ability to make plays:

The History Of Xbox360 Explained

Welcome to my Xbox360 report. This report will detail the origination of Xbox360. The Xbox360 was coined after a marketing firm that it hired conducted a survey which asked people whether they thought the Xbox evoked a more “next generation” or “next-gen” sound. It was apparent that Microsoft was having worries at that time that sticking to Xbox2 as the name of its new video game console would make it appear or sound older or less “cutting-edge” than its main rival, the PlayStation 3 or PS3.

Keeping this concept in mind, Microsoft announced initially that it has successfully produced a set of fresh 360 backwards compatibility update of the Xbox which the firm is scheduled to release anytime within the week. This is in keeping with the company’s commitment to concentrate on the continuous improvement of the console’s features. Peter Moore, the game’s top honcho, said the updates are presently having their final testing at Microsoft. This created a huge buzz.
